Ebon Vanguard Allies? - Guild Wars Forums

I'm to the point in the quest where I'm supposed to assist Keiran or whatever, but he doesn't appear out in Ice Cliff Chasms. However, I have finished all of WiK and done the Wedding cutscene at the end of Hearts of the North. I've also finished all of EotN. I remember watching the dialog before Kieran is supposed to appear, I think, before the update. I went outside the Eye with someone who had him there, but he wasn't there. I am out of ideas on my own, and just want to get this quest off my bar. Since I can't abandon it, I'm stuck wondering how on earth to finish it. If anyone could help, I'd be extremely grateful, because this is really bugging me.

Bold part is the problem -- once you finish WiK, he doesn't appear out there anymore for his scavenger hunt, since that's part of the WiK thing (and also part of his trying to get Gwen to like him). So just abandon the quest.

Well, yeah. I got that part. Figured that part out in the first place. However, if you'd look at the quest "Ebon Vanguard Allies" in the quest log, you'd realize that I *can't* abandon the quest. The abandoning option is darkened out. I mean, I'm almost willing to pay 10k for someone to take me to their last conversation with Gwen before the picnic quest because I heard that it'd jump start that part of the quest chain. I don't know that it will. I just know that I want this quest off. And since I can't abandon it, I'm stuck wondering how to finish it.
